OUR STORY​

Rooted in faith.
Built by hand.

Cody and Baylee met while building a round pen for Baylee’s newly rescued mustangs– and haven’t left each other’s side since. Though we own a steel company, our hearts are rooted in the soil of our family farms. What started with a few animals and a patch of land has grown into a full-fledged homestead, where we raise livestock, operate with integrity, and live out our faith through hard work and stewardship. We believe in doing things the old-fashioned way– honest, sustainable, and full of purpose. Today, we’re raising our children, Braxton and AvaLynn, to live off the land, love the Lord, and help run the farm that holds our hearts. Whether we are working cattle, planting produce, or loading livestock for a haul, everything we do is for His glory– and with our family by our side.

Meet the Family

At Cothern Farms, we raise beef with purpose. Our cattle are raised the way God intended– on open pasture, with clean water, plenty of shade, and no shortcuts. We believe healthy herds come from healthy land, so we steward both with care. From birth to butcher, we know our cattle by name, and we treat them with respect, not chemicals.
